About this role

Pedros is opening a brand-new restaurant in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. This is a waitron job on the launch team, helping the store get started and build its culture from the first day.

What you’ll do

• Welcome guests, seat them and hand out menus.
• Tell guests about the menu and any daily specials.
• Take food and drink orders correctly and serve them quickly.
• Check that guests are happy during their meal and deal with any complaints calmly.
• Clear and reset tables so they are ready for the next guests.
• Take payments when needed and keep the dining area clean.
• Work with the kitchen and cashier teams to keep service running smoothly.

What you need

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Customer focus and a friendly, professional manner.
• Ability to handle several tasks at once.
• Ability to stay calm and solve conflicts.
• Advantageous: previous hospitality experience.
