About this role

Pedros is opening a brand-new restaurant in Polokwane, Limpopo, and is looking for waitrons to join the opening team. The job is about giving diners a good dine-in experience from the first day the doors open.

What you’ll do

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly, professional way.
• Show guests the menu and explain the daily specials.
• Take food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve meals and drinks quickly.
• Check that guests are happy during their meal.
• Clear and reset tables quickly between guests.
• Take payments when needed, and handle complaints calmly.
• Keep the dining area clean and work closely with the kitchen and cashier teams.

What you need

• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Strong people skills, including customer focus and the ability to handle conflict.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Advantageous: previous hospitality experience.
