TVET N6 Internship Programme – Junior Merchandiser

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship in Hartswater, Northern Cape. The programme is for young, unemployed people who want hands-on work experience and a chance to build their skills in a working environment.

You will work as a Junior Merchandiser and learn from experienced professionals while you work.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and how much you need to draw.
• Check products on the shelf, including quality, stock rotation, expiry dates and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising tasks in line with the cycle brief you receive.
• Respond to customer complaints, questions and requests.
• Keep up to date with product details and promotions, and share that knowledge where needed.
• Keep accurate records of your merchandising work.
• Make calls as set out in the call cycle, and tell your RSM about out-of-stock products.

What you need

• A completed N6 TVET College Certificate.
• Be under 28 years old.
• Your N6 must be in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management.
• Be ready to complete the 18-month workplace experience programme so you can apply for an N6 Diploma.
• Be able to work in Hartswater, Northern Cape.
