TVET N6 Internship Programme - Junior Merchandiser

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship in Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. The programme is for young people who want hands-on workplace experience while they work towards their N6 Diploma. You will work as a Junior Merchandiser alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs merchandising and how much you need to draw.
• Check product quality, stock rotation, date codes and price tags on the shelf.
• Carry out merchandising tasks according to the cycle brief you receive.
• Follow up on customer complaints, questions and requests.
• Keep up to date on products and promotions, and share that knowledge where needed.
• Keep accurate records of your merchandising work and complete call cycle visits.
• Report out-of-stock products to the RSM so they can be sorted quickly.

What you need

• You must be under 28 years old.
• A completed TVET College N6 Certificate.
• N6 in one of these fields: Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management.
• You must be looking to complete the 18-month workplace experience programme so you can apply for your N6 Diploma.
