TVET N6 Junior Merchandiser Internship

About this role

Managed People Solutions is offering an 18-month internship in Hartswater, Northern Cape. The programme gives young people who are unemployed a chance to build real work skills and gain workplace experience. You will work as a Junior Merchandiser alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised and how much is needed.
• Check stock for age, shelf quality, rotation and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising tasks in line with the cycle brief.
• Answer customer complaints, questions and requests, and pass on feedback.
• Learn the products and promotions, and keep your product knowledge up to date.
• Keep clear records of your merchandising work, and make calls as set out in the call cycle.
• Tell the RSM about products that are out of stock.

What you need

• A completed TVET College N6 Certificate.
• Your N6 must be in Management Assistant, Business Management or Marketing Management.
• You must be under 28 years old.
• You must be looking to complete the 18-month workplace experience programme so you can apply for an N6 Diploma.
