About this role

Pedros is opening a brand-new store in Paarl, Western Cape, and is looking for waitrons to join the launch team. You will help build the store’s service culture from the first day.

What you’ll do

• Greet guests and seat them in a friendly, professional way.
• Show customers the menu and explain the specials.
• Take food and drink orders accurately.
• Serve meals and drinks quickly, and check that guests are happy during their meal.
• Clear and reset tables so they are ready for the next guests.
• Handle payments when a customer needs to pay at the table.
• Deal calmly with complaints and keep the dining area clean. Work closely with the kitchen and cashier teams.

What you need

• Previous hospitality experience (advantageous).
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts.
• Strong people skills, including customer focus, multitasking and staying calm under pressure.
• Professional presentation.
