Wellness Assistant

About this role

Clicks Group is looking for a Wellness Assistant for its store at Sammy Marks in Pretoria. You will help customers choose healthcare, nutrition and supplement products, and help the store meet its sales targets.

What you’ll do

• Give customers friendly, knowledgeable help in the healthcare aisles.
• Advise customers on healthcare, nutrition and supplement products.
• Recommend other products and brands to grow sales and profit.
• Keep healthcare shelves stocked and follow stock management rules.
• Rotate stock and follow risk management rules to limit waste and losses.
• Keep your area clean and neat, and help with product merchandising.
• Follow store procedures, learn more about products, and share product information with relief staff.

What you need

• Matric (essential).
• At least 1 year of related experience (essential).
• Experience with sports nutrition and vitamin products (essential).
• Selling skills and customer-related training (essential).
• Basic health, fitness and supplement product knowledge (essential).
• Basic knowledge of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising and risk management (essential).
• Good communication and customer service skills (essential).
• Merchandising skills (essential).
• Basic computer literacy (advantageous).
• A sports, fitness or nutrition qualification (advantageous).
