About this role
Clicks Group is looking for a Wellness Assistant for its store in Sandhurst, Gauteng. You will help shoppers find the right health and supplement products and keep the healthcare section running well.
What you’ll do
- Give friendly, knowledgeable help to customers on healthcare, nutrition and supplements.
- Recommend suitable products and suggest related items to grow sales.
- Work towards healthcare sales targets by promoting a wide range of brands.
- Keep healthcare shelves stocked and follow stock management and stock rotation rules to reduce waste.
- Help prevent stock losses by following the store’s risk management policies.
- Keep your area clean and hygienic, and set out products according to merchandising guidelines.
- Follow store procedures and share product information with relief staff.
What you need
- Matric with at least 50% for English, and 50% for Maths or 60% for Maths Literacy, plus a pass in Physical Science or Life Science.
- At least 1 year of related experience.
- Selling skills and customer service training.
- Basic knowledge of retail store operations, including stock management, merchandising and risk management.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work well with others and build good working relationships.
- Advantageous: basic health, fitness and supplement product knowledge.
- Advantageous: experience with sports nutrition and vitamin products.
- Advantageous: a sports, fitness or nutrition qualification.
- Advantageous: basic computer skills.
