Wholesale and Retail Operations Learnership

About this role

Managed People Solutions is recruiting young South Africans for a 12-month learnership in wholesale and retail operations. The programme is based in Pretoria Central, and you will be placed in the merchandising department.

You will learn on the job in retail store settings and earn a National Certificate in Wholesale and Retail Operations at NQF Level 2.

What you’ll do

• Work out which stock needs to be merchandised and request the stock you need.
• Check products for quality, date codes, shelf life, stock rotation and price tags.
• Carry out merchandising tasks following the cycle brief you are given.
• Visit stores on the call cycle and record your merchandising work accurately.
• Pass on customer complaints, questions and requests, and keep up to date on products and promotions.
• Tell your RSM when products are out of stock.

What you need

• Matric (National Senior Certificate).
• Aged between 18 and 28 years.
• No prior work experience needed.
• Based in Pretoria CBD or nearby areas.
• A willingness to learn and grow in a work environment.
